Great news! There are now multiple ways to visit Illinois Wesleyan University––virtual
or in person.
In keeping with CDC and Illinois state guidelines regarding COVID-19, IWU is hosting
single-family individual visits, as well as continuing virtual visits for both individuals

First Look Preview
Take a campus tour, learn valuable financial aid information, glimpse some of the
150+ extracurricular activities available to our students, and more! Designed especially
for students and families who are just getting to know IWU, this is a fantastic overview
of the IWU experience.
Space is Limited.
Individual On-Campus Visits: We are hosting in-person individual family visits again. In an effort to keep our
guests, students, faculty, staff and community as safe as possible, Illinois Wesleyan
is adhering to CDC and state guidelines around preventing the spread of the Coronavirus.
All visitors MUST wear a face mask and practice social distancing of at least 6 feet
while on campus. Thank you! Schedule your individual visit now!
Group On-Campus Visits: We regret that we are unable to schedule group visits to campus at this time due to
COVID-19. We look forward to hosting group tours when it is safe to do so.
In order to provide you with the best virtual visit possible, please allow 72 hours
Individual Virtual Visits: Students and families wanting to meet one on one with an admission counselor, current
student, faculty member and/or coach should sign up for an individual virtual visit.
Virtual Group Presentations: Group presentations are available on Tuesdays and Fridays. Students and families
wanting to get a feel for what IWU has to offer can participate in a 20 minute group
presentation by one of our admission counselors and take a virtual tour led by two
of our student ambassadors.
Out-of-state students who have applied to IWU and meet a certain academic threshold
may be eligible for up to $200 in reimbursements to help defray travel costs associated
with a visit to campus. For more details, and to find out if you qualify, contact your admissions counselor!
