Arrange a Visit
Great news! It’s never been easier to visit Illinois Wesleyan. We offer both in-person and virtual visits so that you and your family can choose the way that works best for you. Either way
you’ll get individual attention and a great sense of what makes Illinois Wesleyan
one of the top ranked schools in the nation!
We are hosting in-person individual family visits. In an effort to keep our guests,
students, faculty, staff and community as safe as possible, Illinois Wesleyan is adhering
to CDC and state guidelines around preventing the spread of the Coronavirus. All visitors
MUST wear a face mask and practice social distancing of at least 6 feet while on campus.

Students and families wanting to meet one on one with an admission counselor, current
student, faculty member and/or coach should sign up for an individual virtual visit.

Each year we’re pleased to offer three fun, informative, in-person sessions which
offer opportunities to discover IWU, ask questions, meet faculty, current students,
take a campus tour and more!
First Look Previews
Take a campus tour, learn valuable financial aid information, glimpse some of the
120+ extracurricular activities available to our students, and more! Designed especially
for students and families who are just getting to know IWU, this is a fantastic overview
of the IWU experience.
Group Virtual Visits
We love sharing Illinois Wesleyan with groups of students. To ensure a positive experience
for all, we ask that all small groups adhere to the following guidelines:
- Students must be in grades 9 - 12
- Requests should come from schools or other academic programs
Contact your admissions counselor to schedule a virtual group visit!
Group On-Campus Visits
We regret that we are unable to schedule group visits to campus at this time due to
COVID-19. We look forward to hosting group tours when it is safe to do so.
Out-of-state students who have applied to IWU and meet a certain academic threshold
may be eligible for up to $200 in reimbursements to help defray travel costs associated
with a visit to campus. For more details, and to find out if you qualify, contact your admissions counselor!
Due to COVID-19, at this time we are unable to provide an overnight experience.
